Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 3, 2026 (version 2026-09-03)
1. Introduction
PersonaPost is owned and operated by Midlife Refinery LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the PersonaPost application and website.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Account information (name, email address, password)
- Human Design data (birth date, birth time, birth location) used to personalize your content
- Business context and content preferences you enter into the app
- Images you upload, and images generated for you at your request, together with related prompts, instructions, and formatting metadata (see Section 11)
- Social account connection and publishing information, where you choose to connect an account (see Sections 12 and 13)
- Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store full payment details)
- Account entitlement and redemption information, such as your plan or entitlement status, whether a redemption code has been redeemed, the redemption date, limited reference information about a redeemed code (for example its final characters, used for account administration and support lookups), and refund or revocation status. We do not retain full redemption codes in readable form.
- Usage and credit-accounting information, such as your generation-credit allowance, credits used and remaining, the current usage period and reset information, and records of credit allocations, consumption, refunds, or adjustments.
- Legal-consent records, such as your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Policy, the version or effective date accepted, the time of acceptance, and the signup or acceptance context (for example, account creation through a marketplace redemption flow).
We also collect limited technical data automatically, such as device type, browser, and usage analytics, to improve the app experience.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve PersonaPost services, including account access
- Personalize content ideas, hooks, posts, and emails based on your Human Design
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Administer plan limits and generation-credit allowances, and process and validate redemptions, refunds, and revocations
- Prevent fraud, misuse, or duplicate redemption, and maintain the security of the service
- Troubleshoot usage or account issues and provide customer support
- Maintain technical and cost analytics about model and feature usage for operations, monitoring, and service improvement
- Generate, edit, store, and format images at your request, and publish or schedule content to social accounts you connect
- Monitor usage for security, abuse and fraud prevention, reliability, and cost control
- Enforce our Terms and applicable plan entitlements
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
- Measure advertising and conversion performance, where you have consented to Marketing & Referral tracking
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers, including payment processors, hosting infrastructure, and — where you have consented — advertising and conversion-measurement platforms, to operate and improve PersonaPost. All providers are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations and are required to protect the information they process.
If you purchased PersonaPost through a third-party marketplace such as AppSumo, that marketplace processes your purchase, billing, and any marketplace refund request under its own terms and privacy practices. PersonaPost processes only the limited information needed to redeem and manage your PersonaPost access, such as the account you create with us, your redemption and entitlement status, and refund or revocation information provided to us so that we can update your access accordingly.
5. Advertising and Conversion Measurement
If you consent to Marketing & Referral tracking, we use Meta (Facebook) advertising tools to measure the performance of our advertising and understand which campaigns lead to subscriptions. This consent covers both browser-based tracking through the Meta Pixel and server-side conversion reporting, in which PersonaPost sends conversion information directly to Meta from our servers.
When you have provided this consent, information sent to Meta about a completed subscription purchase may include an email address and internal account identifier hashed using SHA-256 before transmission, the purchase amount and currency, the subscription plan and billing interval, an invoice-based event identifier, and — where legally and technically appropriate — the IP address and browser user agent associated with checkout. This information is used for advertising attribution, conversion measurement, campaign optimization, matching, and preventing the same purchase from being counted more than once.
We do not send Meta your payment-card information, password, birth date, birth time, birth location, Human Design information, content generated in PersonaPost, or payment-provider credentials.
If you do not consent to Marketing & Referral tracking, the Meta Pixel does not load and PersonaPost does not send server-side conversion information to Meta. You may withdraw your consent at any time through Cookie Preferences in the footer of any public page. Withdrawal stops future marketing and conversion tracking, but it cannot undo information transmitted before consent was withdrawn.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Access to your account is protected by authentication and access controls.
Redemption codes are stored and validated using secure hashed representations rather than readable code values. We retain only limited reference information, such as the final characters of a redeemed code, for account administration and support.
7. Credit Accounting and AI Usage Records
Generation-credit records are used for plan entitlement and usage accounting: they record how many credits were allocated, used, refunded, or adjusted, and for which feature and usage period. These records do not contain the content you generate.
Separately, we keep technical AI usage records that may include the feature used, the model used, token counts, estimated cost, latency, and whether a request failed. These records are used for operations, monitoring, cost analysis, and service improvement, and do not store your prompts or generated content.
8. Your Rights
You may access, update, or delete your account and personal data at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@personapost.com. You may also request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Where legally permitted or required, we may retain a limited set of operational and legal records after an account is deleted — for example legal-acceptance records, entitlement, redemption, refund and revocation history, credit-accounting records, and security or fraud-prevention records. These are kept only as needed for account administration, dispute and refund history, accounting, and legal compliance.
9. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law or is necessary for the limited operational and legal records described in Section 8.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the app and updating the effective date.
11. AI Image Generation and Uploaded Media
When you use image generation, editing, or upload features, we may process:
- the content used as the basis for an image
- optional image instructions or prompts you provide
- generated image files
- image files you upload
- image metadata needed for storage, sizing, and platform formatting
- the AI provider and model used for the request
- usage and cost records associated with the request
- success, failure, and error logs
To generate or edit an image, the relevant request information — which may include your content, instructions, and any source image — is transmitted to AI service providers as necessary to produce the requested output.
Generated images may include provenance, watermarking, labeling, or model metadata applied by the AI provider or by a social platform. We do not represent that we remove or alter such provenance or model metadata.
12. Connected Social Accounts
If you connect a social account, we may process information about that connection, including:
- the platform name
- connected account, profile, page, or channel identifiers
- display name and handle
- avatar or profile information where the platform provides it
- connection and authorization status
- references used by our connectivity provider to identify the connection
- connection, refresh, and expiration timestamps
- errors and reconnect status
Authorization may be handled by a third-party connection provider acting on our behalf. Depending on the platform and provider, access credentials or tokens may be held by that provider, by PersonaPost, or both, and are used only to operate the connection you authorized. We store this information using access controls appropriate to its sensitivity.
13. Social Publishing and Scheduling Data
When you publish or schedule content through PersonaPost, we may process:
- the content you submit for publishing
- attached images or other media
- the target social account or destination
- the scheduled date and time, and your timezone
- publishing status
- platform or provider post identifiers
- the resulting permalink, where the platform returns one
- failure and error information
- retry and status events
This information is transmitted to third-party services as necessary to publish or schedule the content you requested.
14. Usage and Abuse Monitoring
To keep the Service secure and reliable, we may log and analyze operational signals such as:
- AI-generation frequency
- image-generation frequency
- publishing and API request frequency
- failed requests and retries
- unusual traffic patterns
- automated or bot-like behavior
- approximate provider usage and cost signals
We use this information for security, abuse prevention, fraud prevention, service reliability, cost control, enforcing usage and fair-use limits, and troubleshooting. Automated alerts may be generated for our administrators when suspicious or unusually high usage is detected, so that we can review it.
15. Service Providers
We work with trusted third-party service providers to operate PersonaPost, including providers for AI generation, social account connectivity, social publishing and scheduling, hosting and file storage, authentication, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics and security. Providers receive only the information needed to perform their function, are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations, and are not permitted to use your information for their own unrelated purposes.
16. Disconnection, Deletion, and Retention of Publishing Data
- Disconnecting a social account stops future publishing access through that connection. It does not remove content already published on that platform.
- We may retain publishing records, usage logs, audit records, and other records needed for security, accounting, dispute handling, and legal or legitimate business purposes for appropriate periods.
- Generated and uploaded media are removed in accordance with our content- and account-deletion behavior when you delete the item or your account.
- Some information may persist for a limited time in backups, security logs, audit records, or third-party systems in accordance with their own retention practices.
